“You don’t have to be delusional to accept that miracles can happen. When you encounter something that doesn’t appear to be included in the description of reality that you’ve been imprinted with and socialized into, the fact that you cannot explain it doesn’t necessarily prove that it’s non-existent. Surely, you don’t need to believe in miracles in general. However, at the very least, you’d be well advised to believe in creating miracles for yourself, even if that requires you to change your definition of what a miracle is. The thing is, if you define the term “miracle” in a way that makes it pointless for it to be used in any real-life context at all, confining it to the world of religious legends and fantasy stories, you might want to consider the idea that this has nothing to with reason, and a lot with embracing limitation. To believe in miracles shouldn’t mean to believe in something that isn’t real, or isn’t considered to be real. It should mean to believe in possibility beyond convention.”
